First World War Experience
By 21st November 1914 Thomas had enlisted in the Armed Forces and was posted to 6th Sussex Battery, Royal Field Artillery. Amongst so many other service records his did not survive the bombings of WW2 so we only know that Thomas received both the Victory Medal and the British War Medal.
