Bexhill Museum is open six days a week, 11:00am to 4:00pm. We are closed on Mondays. Keep an eye on social media and our events page for news of special events.
Our normal opening hours are:
Tuesday to Friday: 11am – 4pm
Saturday & Sunday: 11am – 4pm

Disabled Access:
Front entrance has three steps and ramp, both with handrails. Two floor levels internally connected by easy stairs and disabled lift. No changes in floor levels within each floor. Galleries and communicating spaces designed to be fully accessible. Disabled toilet to Lower Level. Hearing Loop, handling objects. Assistance dogs welcome.

By Train

By bus
Local bus services stop in Sackville Road or the De La Warr Pavilion. Find us by walking west along the seafront and looking behind the Clock Tower, or follow Egerton Road adjacent to Egerton Park. Parking:
There is metered parking by the museum, plus three disabled parking bays. More spaces are available on the seafront. Details from East Sussex County Council here.
Facilities
Bexhill Museum has a room for hire capable of seating up to 40 people. The room has computer linked projector and screen. Hirers can provide their own supplies and use the room's kitchen facility.
The hourly hire rate is £15.
Out of hours use is charged at £20 per hour.
