If you have ever wanted to visit Bexhill Museum, but are not really confident about travelling by train, or wonder if you will get a friendly welcome, this may be the offer for you.

Our colleagues at Culture Shift are ready to help you visit the museum on November 6 for a special open day for adults with learning difficulties. It’s a great opportunity to come along, explore and discover local heritage for free.

Bexhill Museum has two time slots on November 6 available for people who qualify: 11:00am – 1:30pm and 1:30pm – 4:00pm. To secure free spaces, financial support for train travel, and information about timings and accessibility contact: [email protected]

There’s a similar deal on offer from our friends at Anne of Cleves’ House, 11:00am – 1:00pm, over two days that month, Tuesdays 19 and Tuesday 26 November.

Time Travel In Sussex creates opportunities for learning disabled adults and their carers to explore a range of heritage venues in East and West Sussex located near to train stations, encouraging people to gain confidence and experience of travelling by train.

The team is working alongside staff and volunteers from other heritage venues and colleagues from Southeast Communities Rail Partnership and Southern Railways.
