Enjoy some rarities from our collection, including some of the lovely 19th century waistcoats featured in new makers book The Waistcoat Workbook by J. François-Campbell. The author will be around on both days to share her research into the design, construction, and role of waistcoats from the reign of Queen Victoria to the present day.
The book is an excellent resource for professional film and theatre costume makers, students of costume and fashion design, and Cosplay, Steampunk, and re-enactment costume makers. The exhibition is free, but admission to the rest of the museum is chargeable.
