Our coast’s iconic lighthouses

The Belle Tout, Beachy Head Lighthouse and Royal Sovereign Lighthouse are all names we recognise from living in and around East Sussex. There are more than 60 lighthouses dotted around the coast of England and Wales, with over 200 operating around Scotland. Our speaker Ed Peppitt has visited every onshore and offshore lighthouse in England and Wales. This talk will focus on our local ‘solitary guards of the sea’.
