Sackville Road Methodist Church

The church was built on the corner of the new Parkhurst Road and Sackville Road, and opened in 1896 – the photograph above appears to have been taken at the opening.

The buildings on either side of the church show houses or, more probably, shops still in the stage of construction.

Vestries were added to the Church in 1924 and a new entrance in 1961.
